The construction site for the new UNU-INRA officesThe construction site for the new UNU-INRA offices UNU-INRA has reached an Agreement with the Department of International Programmes (DIG) of the University of Ghana (UoG) that the second floor in a new 4-storey building (ground floor + 3) for the DIG will be made available for UNU-INRA. The construction of this building started around the middle of 2007 and should be finished towards the end of 2008. As part of this Agreement, the Dreyer Foundation and the Rector of UNU have both contributed to construction of the new building and procurement of new resources. We are looking forward to working out of a brand new, state-of-the-art office, complete with offices, conference facilities with audio and video systems, library and other common spaces.   UNU-INRA has a new website! UNU-INRA has developed this new website with the help of previous intern from the International Insititute for Sustainable Development (IISD), William Mohns, and current intern, Gurneesh Bhandal. This initiative was part of UNU-INRA participation in IISD's international internship program funded by the Canadian International Development Agency. UNU-INRA hosted William Mohns in 2003-2004 and Gurneesh Bhandal in 2007-2008. Mr. Mohns, having worked with UNU-INRA previously, volunteered to provide technical support to Ms. Bhandal to complete the new website, while Ms. Bhandal worked on the design and content.
