Community Information Volunteers Program was born in 2006 with to
increase documentation and improve the quality of development content
generated by the local communities.The program, now in its third
year, is unique in its focus on young, fresh and inexperienced graduates
from reputable institutions of higher learning. The Volunteers,
are posted to the various Maarifa Centres in Eastern Africa.
